Seaboard Marine has welcomed the Seaboard Victory, the second vessel in its advanced LNG-powered V-Class fleet, marking a significant step toward sustainable maritime transportation.
The vessel recently completed its maiden voyages to the ports of Callao and Pisco in Peru, strengthening Seaboard Marine’s presence in the Americas.
Boasting a capacity of 3.500 TEUs, including over 1000 refrigerated container plugs, the Seaboard Victory boosts reliability and expands capacity along key trade routes. Its LNG-powered engine reduces emissions, enhancing fuel efficiency and supporting the company’s environmental goals.
Eddie Gonzalez, President and CEO of Seaboard Marine, highlighted the ship’s importance, stating, “The Seaboard Victory represents a milestone as the second vessel in our V-class series and part of eight LNG-powered ships redefining our fleet. It reinforces our commitment to sustainability and superior service”.
The Seaboard Victory now operates across the Caribbean Basin, Central America, and South America, facilitating smooth cargo movement and strengthening Seaboard Marine’s trade network. Equipped to handle perishable and high-demand shipments, the vessel exemplifies modern shipping standards.
Seaboard Marine plans to integrate all eight LCG-powered vessels by 2025, demonstrating its leadership in adapting innovative eco-friendly technologies to support regional trade growth.
